SMARTPart component libraries

Market research tells us that the most commonly cited reason for a failed routed systems implementation is the lack of an available cost effective library of industry standard parts. Given that a library of 200 components can take up to 40mWks to generate, the associated time and cost can be a major inhibiter to the adoption of a new Wire Harness Design Process. Here at Virtual Interconnect, it also strikes us that there is a large duplication of effort associated with every company generating and maintaining their own libraries of industry standard parts and hence we introduced SMARTParts.

All are validated against Routed Systems Designer and Pro/CABLING and are ready to use.

SMARTPart Libraries

SMARTPart libraries come in 3 market sector options: Military/Aerospace, Specialist Vehicles (Automotive) and Industrial Equipment. Both the Specialist Vehicle and Industrial Equipment libraries consist of over 200 3D geometry parts while the Military library has over 100. All libraries include over 300 single wires, 10 cable groups and 4 RSD ready drawing borders. The maintenance option guarantees your library will grow year on year and allows you to request up to 10 free additional parts per year.
